this is his "guilty" face

two of my dear friends and i were having a nice lunch date... between us we had 4 boys, 3 four year olds, & benjamin. they were all playing very well together... i thought... until time to go.

I peek in the boys room, "um hey guys, (looking around) is benjamin in here?" (surely he is, he MUST be in here, somewhere) "nope" chime three little boys.
(uh-oh) "do you know where he is?" "nope" (oh dear)
a quick down the hall... to the closed bathroom door. (groan)
open the door, yep, there he is: pleased as pie, grinning from ear to ear, with both hands in the make-up bag, and renovations underway. We all laughed so hard that he got embarrassed and cried, but he was reassured in a moment and this fine photo was taken to remember the occasion of his delighted mischief.
