Apologies to Benjamin's many loyal fans for the long lack of updates.
As you would imagine he has grown and changed much in the last months.
He began commando crawling the last week in February and is getting faster every day. As of this week, he will scoot from the living room to other rooms in search of us when we leave him for a few minutes.
His first tooth broke through on 3-22-08 after a week of bad teething business with fever and tears. On 4-2-08 his second tooth appeared with no fanfare whatsoever.
On Saturday, the 29th Benjamin attended our Republican county convention, and there learned to clap, following the lead of delegates, who clapped for every resolution that was passed and indeed, every one that failed as well. He has made much use of his new talent ever since.
He says "Hi" now as well, although the timing on this is hard to pin down. His Omi insists that he has been saying it since he was 3 months, but only in the last month has he said it quite consistently enough in greeting to be sure that it is no coincidence.
